Mesmerized is the first album from the northern soul band, Philly Nouveau. Now in a staggered release, Mesmerized features a re-make of the J's hit, "When Did You Stop" and several new songs. Featuring brilliant performances by an all-star band of veteran studio musicians, including saxophone Carl Cox (Gerald Veasley, Jay Z, The Roots). Guitarist, Allan Slutsky (aka Dr. Licks; Chaka Khan, the Funk Brox.) and percussionist, Doc Gibbs (Al Jarreau, Grover Washington, Jr.) round out the band.
